Q1) In the last line, what did the writer mean by suggesting that “he may have found more porcupines than rats?”

The writer means Singapore has citizen that usually stands up for their rights and to protect themselves from their enemy away and also warn their enemy to get lost. Singaporean mostly notice on what is happening in the country and spread the message among themselves.

Q2) What’s worth giving up your life for?
Everybody worth. When other is in danger, you should save that person first instead of worry about this and that. If you never go save that person, the next day when you saw the newspaper reported about his death, you will felt guilty about it, but, if you save that person, maybe you might not survived, but, at least you try our best to save that person. and, you will not felt that guitly. so i think that everybody is worth for me to giving up my life.

Q2)“Hard work leads to success.” To what extend do you agree with this statement?

i agree that hard work leads to success as there is nothing will directly leads you into th success in this world except for hard working. it very important as some people might not as clever and some people but if they put in effort in everything that they did, they will get themselves in the pathway of success. In order to success, you need more effort than in talent. In this world, no one get their success by just studies for few years, instead they put in their effort in everything that they does.
